3rd trimester question!

So I went to the hospital early Monday morning with contractions. Come to find out I was in labor at 34 week and 4 days. I ended up dilating to 5cm then contractions stopped and they sent me home that afternoon since I live close to the hospital. I'm now currently feeling pressure near my cervix from my baby I'm assuming but it feels like I need to push. I'm not contracting but my stomach does hurt. I'm not exactly sure why maybe I need a to have a bowel movement but I'm honestly scared to try with the pressure I'm feeling. Should I call my doctor? Has anyone else felt this before?
