Second Mirena Coil Fitting - Worse Than The First!
So my Mirena Coil was 5 years old this week and and I'd have such a positive experience with it over the last 5 years, that following a chat with my fiancé that right now isn't the time to expand our family. It would be the best idea to have another one fitted.
The Dr was brilliant and diligent and gave my my first smear test there and then (as I'm 25 this month and in the UK that's when you get your first.)
Having the new coil fitted was quick, but it was really uncomfortable - way more uncomfortable than I remember the first time. Once I'd left the Drs office I went white as a sheet, sweaty and felt like I was about to feint.
I'm now bundled under my duvet and pillows on the sofa having a duvet day - hot water bottle on and paracetamol taken.
I don't get periods when I have the Mirena so can anyone else suggest any remedies to help with this miserable feeling of stomach cramps ?
