Strange Period - TMI

Okay so I have a normal period every moth but when I'm not supposed to be on I still kinda am it's not blood but it's something brown...should I be worried? .... Should I go to the doctors? Also I'm going on holiday this year and I don't want to not be able to go in the pool because of this please help ... What's wrong with me??
