How many hours a week do you "mom"?

Question

When I say "mom," I mean the time that you're with your children, taking care of them. Naps don't count, children being with relatives or at school don't count, hours that you work at a different job don't count. I'm just curious how many hours we put into our "job" of mom :)

Being a stay at home mom is all day. Naps do count cause when she's napping im probably washing her bottles or something else mom related lol. If your talking about me napping I don't take those

I think this is ridiculous. I never stop being a mom regardless if my baby is napping or at school.

Naps should count. Not like mine naps anymore anyway. We're together 24/7. In that time I'm never not "momming". I work from home too, but I'm taking care of her at the same time. She sleeps 10 hrs at night, so if sleeping doesn't count, then 14 hrs a day x 7 days a week=  98 hrs a week.

I'm 24/7/365 mom. Husband a train conductor, so I do it ALL. ALL the time. Damn I'm tired.

Seriously. I don't even shower alone. And sometimes I have to get off the toilet to take care of kids before I'm even finished.

I literally do not remember the last time I slept more than three or four hours at a time. Or the last time I went somewhere alone (even to the grocery store).

So yeah. All the time. Every hour of every day.

Well I'm with my daughter 24/7 because I'm at SAHM. She sleeps 11 hours at night and takes one 3 hour nap during the day and during that time I usually clean the kitchen and fold laundry. But if you're talking about the number of hours she's awake and we are playing, cuddling, etc. it would be about 70 hours a week- if she has her nap everyday as usual. Sometimes on the weekend I will go out with my friends to the movies or something and my husband will watch the kids because he works A LOT so he never gets to see them & so then it would be like idk, 67 hours because I usually go out right before she goes to sleep lol, but that's maybe once a month 😂

Sounds like a lot of stay at moms are on glow. That's great! I'm a preschool teacher and some of my kids stay at school Monday thru Friday from 730 am to 530 at night. And one of those kids even has a babysitter on Sundays too. It's crazy!!! And then the parents always ask " why does my child have behavior issues?" Uhhh gee I wonder! Lol
