Depo Shot

I got on the depo shot for the first time in January. My next one is due in April, I don't plan on getting it again because my first two months on it were AWFUL. I've been on 3-4 different kinds of birth control (pill). I have difficulty remembering to take them so I just quit. I'm scared if I try a different type of bc I will mess up my inside and become infertile, especially because infertility runs in my family. Any suggestions??
