Help!!

My bf  and I had sex about a week ago..rough sex.. Right after we finished I immediately saw and felt a hard swollen ball formed at the left bottom side of my vagina size of a golf ball, I researched on the internet and it turns out it might be a Bartholins gland cyst, but it's something that I wouldn't let my mother know for me to go get it checked out. Well a week has gone by and the swelling is gone but I still feel a hard ball size of a marble it doesn't really hurt but it can be uncomfortable.. I'm hoping someone might know how I can treat this by home remedies or if someone has had the same experience can help me out. Thanks!
