Do any of you ladies know the correct CPR steps? If so list them below.

If you've already checked and cleared their airway and felt for a pulse, start chest compression. 30 compressions to 2 rescue breaths. Tilt the head back slightly, pinch the nose for an adult or child, or cover the nose and mouth with your mouth for an infant.

Keep the compressions to the beat of staying alive! Also make sure you go deep enough with each compression! I believe it's 2 inches for an adult! A paramedic told me that if you don't break there sternum that you are not giving effective compressions!

So I was a deep water lifeguard and trained for this. No one's mentioned this and it's the most critical step! The first thing you do after checking their pulse is call 911! Then you check to see if there is anything in the mouth. Then you start the 30 compressions and 2 breaths. 15/2 for infant/child under 10 I believe but I could be wrong about the age. So they told us to guess on what the child was based on how big they were !

Ok...first off, check their airway and their pulse. Something most people don't know:
CPR IS ONLY AFFECTIVE IF THE HEART IS NO LONGER BEATING. Also, if you're doing it right, ribs are broken. It is a last resort option because it is so harmful to the victim and can cause more damage than good, and it is so very little affective.

Old way and new way. The new way is 15/2 for children and Infants! I didn't just come up with that out of no where. I was trained for a full week before I could be on stand guarding people and we had yo have 4 hours of practice training a month. That stuff is written into my brain
