Cysts in both of my ovaries! Support please?

I have just found out I have one 10cm cyst/mass in my ovary and my other ovary has 3!! I am waiting on results and further testing MRI and blood tests to follow. Has anyone been through this? I am terrified and trying to think of the best possible outcomes. Can anyone offer advise? 😢

If your blood results come back showing elevated levels of testosterone, it's likely you could have PCOS...I have PCOS, as a result I take Metformin every day...metformin is traditionally used for patients with diabetes but they found it beneficial for women with PCOS in helping balance out the hormones. PCOS can cause issues with fertility, due to the amount of cysts in my ovaries I was unable to ovulate without the help of clomid. My doctor started me on 50mg of clomid and with no response for 4 cycles and after more testing she increased it to 100mg and I'm now 10.5 weeks :-)...

I had a 12cm cyst on my right ovary and then a 5cm and 3cm one on the left. 
They were giving me heaps of pain and was put on the pill (again) for 21 days. 
Miraculously they were gone after that and through ultrasound could still see a loose sac which was the remainder of the big cyst. 
I truely didn't expect them to disappear!! 
It was just ANOTHER hurdle in my ttc mission. 
But, my body surprised me and my ovaries healed. Xxx

I had one large one with my first pregnancy. This pregnancy I have 3 large ones on the right ovary. The doctor is doing ultrasounds every 2 weeks to watch for shrinking. It won't harm the baby but they can be very painful! Take it easy :)

I had 19 at once! 12 in one ovary and 7 in the other. But I'm pregnant now with no cysts! Just follow doctors orders and I'm sure you'll be fixed up in no time :) good luck!

Hi, I have PCOS. I've had ovarian cysts since 17 yrs old. They are painful at times but will come & go. I was able to have a baby so do not feel or get discouraged about the cyst. I also have history or uterian fibroids as well which did require surgery. I took Advil for pain & used heating pads. I hope you feel better and just see what dr says after MRI and other tests.

Hi aunt had that. Thry removed it and she was then able to have a baby. It will work out drs are trained for this. :)

I had one that big on one of my ovaries ended up twisting and they had to remove all of my ovary. Then had three two years later on my other side so only have part of that side left. I made them collect and freeze  embryos before I would let them do the second operation. But we were very lucky and 7 months after second operation fell pregnant with my beautiful daughter. So make sure you get sorted asap to safe what you can because hopefully you will be as lucky as us and still have a beautiful child one day :)

I have a lot of cysts on both. My blood work doesn't show I have PCOS but they put me on metaformin anyhow in which I never a difference in anything. I still ovulate on my own as my dr says but it's Been 2 years since trying to get pregnant. Took our first round of clomid this month. Hopefully it does it. Good luck.
