19 weeks and felt no movement??

Question

Is anyone in the same boat as me? I'm getting worried because there hasn't been any movement that I couldn't write off as something else. I just feel like by 19 weeks I should've felt something by now. :/

The first time I felt my baby move was at 19wks and some days and what I felt was barely anything and gentle ! My midwife had told me it was very possible I wouldn't feel her move till 23 or 24 weeks due to the fact that this is my first baby. I wouldn't worry too much especially if you haven't had any complications during this pregnancy ! Im 21 weeks now and It pretty much little to nothing the movement I feel but if you are really concerned I would make an appt just to make sure but I don't think this is anything unusual I asked my midwife how was it that some women felt movement as early as 14 or 15 weeks and she said movement can be easily mistaken my gas or they could be a 2nd or 3rd time mom and they know exactly how It feels but at that stage movement's arent strong at all !

Especially if it's your first, 19 weeks is still early to worry about feeling movement. Docs don't worry until 24+, and even then, they just expect small flutters here and there.

With my first I didn't feel movement until sometime after our ultrasound (20 weeks, can't remember exactly when).  My uterus is tilted backwards and I had an anterior placenta, both made it harder to feel him.  He's now a healthy 2 year old.  It's harder the first time too because you're not sure what it'll feel like.

Another thing is could you possibly have an anterior placenta! I do and I jus started to feel major movement about a week ago! I'm 21+4 btw!

Don't worry, it could still be early for you. Some women don't start feeling fetal movement until after 20 weeks.
