Trying for our first

I'm 19, and me & my fiancé want to try for our first child. I was on depo from the age of 14 got off when I was 17. He has been on testosterone, he is currently off. He also did do drugs in years ago, but has a drinking problem. Any suggestions on how to conceive in the next couple of months?
