Ob-gyn vs. nurse practitioner

There is a ob-gyn and a nurse practitioner in the same office and I thought I was going to be seeing the OB but comes to find out I'm seeing the nurse practitioner. She is helping the OB with his patients right now. I have had my blood drawn at my first appointment but nothing else has really been checked. No breast exam and she hasn't checked my cervix. I'm just wondering if she is really qualified to help me through this pregnancy or should they be doing more tests? I seen her back a few months ago when I had a miscarriage but I'm not real sure about her as my primary care person through this. Not real sure if there's anyone else in this area. The OB done a surgery for me a few years ago and I really liked him but comes to find out he won't be delivering my baby anyways so I don't know what to do
