Love story in the making,or...?

So, my SO and I have been together about 2 years. About a year ago he decided he wanted to go to the national guard, buuuuttt there was an issue. Although he's been here his entire life, pays taxes, and has no criminal record (not even a parking ticket, I'm dead serious) they wouldn't allow him to join because he's technically an immigrant. Now, I wasn't about to let him not pursue his dream over something so silly. Although we haven't been together super long we got married on the 26th (MY idea) and in less than a year he'll be able to go 😊 neither of our families has any idea, and I'm only 18 (he's 22.)
