My first tattoo says family one way and one love the other way..my mom,dad,older sister,and 2 younger brothers got the same tattoo except different to them.

My second tattoo is a mother daughter one that says "Because of her I will not fall" and my mom's says "For them I'll risk it all"

My third tattoo is a female skull lock with a rose and it's my couple tattoo since my bf got the skull key to go with it.

My fourth tattoo is the adoption symbol with the date of my adoption and my last name change.

My first tattoo I wanted it so I got it, it's an anatomical heart with an ekg line. I am a nursing student though

My second I got with my mother, mine says like mother hers says like daughter

My third is a green and black semi colon to represent my anxiety disorder and how I will not be ashamed.

My first tattoo is of hello kitty hiding behind a cupcake, no meaning is needed lol, I just find it super adorable! Although now that I have it and you can't we her mouth, I'm gonna go with a 'see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil theme' all hello kitty related lol, I love hello kitty

You absolutely do not need a special meaning behind a tattoo. I have one just because tattoo but I feel like it makes the tattoo a little more special if there is some sentiment behind it. Makes it more unlikely for you to regret it as well.
