Bruise or birthmark on my newborn!????

My 2 week old baby had this mark appear on his arm!!! I hadn't noticed it all day so idk when he got it😞 I feel like a bad mom! Idk how this happened if it is a bruise😩 ladies help

Can he reach that place with his mouth? My friends son have himself hickies  on his wrists and hands because he would suck on them lol

Is there any update ag all to what this was?  My 3 week old randomly has a place that looks almost identical and Its stressing me to no end. I just found it

Looks like a bruise. It'll disappear. As long as he isn't in pain or showing anxiety he's in good health!

It could be either. My son has a birthmark right above his butt cheek that just appeared one day. I thought it was poop at first.

It looks like the hickey my son gave himself around that same age. It's possible he's sucking on his arm. Unless it's bothering him or gets worse it should be fine. Don't feel bad.

I've heard that sometimes 'birthmarks' will show up a few weeks to a month after birth. It looks like a birthmark to me because it looks like it's kind of redish purple which is very common for birthmarks. Even if it is a bruise, it happens and don't worry too much about it

I'm pretty sure a birthmark is there from birth so it's probably a bruise. Don't feel like a bad mom, he's a baby and he probably just laid wrong or was leaning to hard on his arm. It's okay!
