Threatened abortion

Went to the er after some brown spotting that had turned to a more red color. After doing a sonogram at 5 weeks they diagnosed me with a threatened abortion meaningearly bleeding   before 20 weeks. First off the name of this is just horrible. I go in for more blood work and another ultrasound Friday to see if the baby is going to be ok. Growing and checking for a heart beat. He did mention 85 percent do have successful pregnancies. I'm nervous. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks for listening to me venting my issue.
