When does it get easier?

My baby girl is 2 weeks and 1 day and while it's not crazy difficult she does like to comfort nurse and she cluster feeds. So pretty much I feel like she always wants to be attached to my boob. It makes thinking about going and running errands sound very difficult since I can't whip my boob out in public every time she cries....

I'm going to start pumping this weekend to have a bottle on hand but not sure if that will really help with being able to calm her in public.

So... At what age do you think things get easier? And how so?

May i suggest the use of a pacifier ? There are some health benfits to them and really arent that gard to break the baby from . My daughter only uses hers ocassionally but it really helps to give my tatas a break!

Just whip the boob out! My son is 6 wks and so far whenever we run errands he stays asleep in his car seat the whole time. But if he wakes up I just get to my car and feed him the go back to what we were doing.

I would suggest a paci maybe it gets me through the cluster feedings also as far as running errands my LO stays asleep but when I need to feed him I do no problem.

I think it gets easier between 5-8 weeks.

It could be her growth spurt at 2 weeks my baby did the same thing for a few days also

My baby is a month old and yeah! I avoid going out as much as I can lol... I just go to doctors appointments and grocery shopping and I feed her and change her right before leaving the house, she falls asleep once the car starts moving! I'm not into breastfeeding in public so I always have a pacifier ready just in case...

Do you have a sling/wrap to wear baby? That has helped me tremendously! I wear my DD most of the day and just nurse her in the wrap whenever she's hungry. With my firstborn, it got easier around 6-8 weeks. You'll still deal with growth spurts and wonder weeks but that's when I finally felt like baby wasn't attached to my breast constantly. Hang in there! :)

I'm waiting for it to get easier... My boy will be a month on the 14th. Growth spurts are killer at the moment 😳😱😰
