Baby planner?

Are any new moms considering using a baby planning service to help navigate registries, must haves, and check lists? If so what do you look for? I'm considering this option because in addition to my full time job, my husband and I run a business....I want to keep working as much as I can pre baby since I know I'll have to let off for a bit once little one is here.  Any advice is appreciated!
