Thoughts on baby clothes?

I know you're not supposed to buy a whole bunch of clothes right off the bat because they outgrow them fast... but my husband and I have gone clearance shopping the past two days and bought some adorable outfits. I'd love to hear some advice from mom's out there on how many outfits you bought or felt actually necessary. We're due august 7th and are going on vacation to North Carolina at the end of September. So I did buy some outfits for that as well ;)

the first 2 pictures are sizes 0-3 months, the 3rd picture is 3 months, and the 4th is a 6 month shirt and a 12 months dress. The swimsuits are 0-3 months and I'm hoping they fit when our baby is 7 or 8 weeks when we are on vacation! I'm planning on buying a lot of onesies because I know they are in those a lot! Oh, and also to mention... I am 4'10 and I wore newborn sizes until I was 6 months! Lol so who knows how our daughter will end up!
