Faint opk?

I understand that with the opk I have that a faint line is a negative. I know the line has to be stronger than the control line but the other day I had nothing now today I have a faint. I know ovulation isn't close but does a faint mean I will ovulate just not yet? I'm questioning wether I actually ovulate and this faint line has given me hope despite it being negative I am on day 12 of a 28/29 day cycle but it is still early but does a faint line indicate that I will and am yet to ovulate? Thank you
