What to pack in my hospital bag

I have no idea what I should pack in my hospital bag. I wanna get a true insite in real world mommies and what their packing in their hospital bags so mommies... Let's hear it:)

Take pajamas if you're not comfortable wearing the hospital gown (I have c-sections so I'm there 3 days so I take plenty). Normally I'm in the hospital gown the day of delivery but as soon as I'm able to shower I'm in my pj's!

Nursing bras/shirts

I only pack a couple pairs of undies, the hospital gives mesh undies you can throw away that I prefer to use

Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair ties, makeup. I don't go too crazy with toiletries, just the necessities.

I pack stool softeners and fiber one bars because I have to have a bm before they release me so I take some items to help me in case I need it...sorry, tmi.

For baby: a few outfits

Receiving blankets

Hooded towel, wash cloths, travel baby wash and lotion, comb and brush. The hospital provides baby wash but I take just in case.

A few diapers and wipes just in case, hospital provides these also.

A couple different pacifiers in case baby doesn't like the one the hospital gives.

Car seat, extra headrest or cushion for it in case you have a small baby. They fussed with my last one because the harness stayed a little loose but I showed that it was the tightest I could go and they finally gave up.

For hubby: a few outfits, his toiletries, snacks, cash for vending machines. He's low maintenance so he's easy plus he had the freedom to leave and get whatever else he may need or want.

I've pinned a ton of different opinions on this so far, as its my first and I'm utterly clueless. I also know I'm having a section, which has coloured my choices too. I've started making my own list which is taken from the various pins & conversations with my recently delivered pals and have begun packing some things. I freely admit in a planner, so my lists are detailed. Feel free to use and discard as necessary for yourself.

With my first I checked in at 8am on a Thurs and left at 8am on a Sat so not there very long. I just brought one pair of pj pants, one tank top, one yoga bra, and 2 undies, and flip flops (I had a May baby). Phone chargers, 2 comfy outfits for dad, a few snacks, and a travel hygiene bag for both of us. A diaper bag for baby with a blanket, one sleeper, one outfit. And lots of space in both bags to take stuff home like the hospital pads and mesh undies as well as the diapers and extra formula and bottles they gave us.
