Keeping a positive test, how long do they last?

(I wasn't sure which forum to post in)
Anyway, when I have one, I'd like to keep positive test/s to give to my SO when I tell him the happy news. It will probably be a week later.

How long do they last for?
For a pink line, and for a digital (Clear Blue) test that tells you the weeks?

I found out over a year ago and my tests still show positive

My daughter is 2 and the pink line test still has two lines and looks clear. The blue dye test looks gross and negative though.

My clearblue digital with the weeks indicator only showed pregnant 1-2 for a little over 24 hours. In the instructions it said it only stays on the screen for about 24 hours as well.

I have test from my daughter who will be 5 in June and hers is still two lines lol

The one I used for my six-year-old daughter still says positive. I have kept it in a sandwich bag. I bought it at the dollar store.

I think the digitals keep the word for up to 6 months. It should say in the instructions.

I found out I was pregnant at 3w4d. I'm now 38w4d & my tests (pink die FRER & clear blue digital) still say positive/pregnant.

I did just a normal cheapy line test with my baby, she's 13 months now and the test is still good!! 😊

I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and my test still says "pregnant" :)
