Opinion on toy storage

OK so I need opinions on kids toys . We live in a 3 bedroom apartment the girls have their room and boy has his own room so I have a cube organizer Idk if I should buy boxes for it and store all their toys outside in the living room or if I should buy them each another smaller cube organizer and put the girls toys in their room and my son in his. What should I do ?
