How do I tell my partner I'd like to get engaged? I love him so much I feel that will bring us even more closer, we are closer than ever right now and I think this would be a great way to keep it going, I'd love to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him, how can I go about it to him?

I just asked my now husband if he saw our relationship going anywhere and what his thoughts were on it. I made sure he didn't feel pressured and a few months later he proposed ! :] i believe it's healthy to talk about these things. Just be sure to make sure he doesn't feel pressured !

If he feels as u do he would want to spend his life with u too. Wouldn't u want a surprise engagement? Have u talked about marriage?

Ask him how he feels about marriage in general. A good rule of thumb, if you have to pressure him into a proposal, the marriage will never work.

I straight up told him if he asked I wouldn't say no. Then when he asked me to move I said I would, but wouldn't live with him unless we were engaged. We went to look at rings, but he ended up surprising me two weeks after I moved to be with him.

My now husband and I talked about marriage all the time after we'd been dating like 6 months. But we were young so we dated three years and then got engaged when we graduated college and he joined the military. We always knew we were going to marry each other. We were so freaking mad about each other that it wasn't even a question. If you don't feel comfortable enough to talk openly about marriage with your SO then maybe it's not the right time yet...
