Adopting a friends baby..

So here's the story.. My friend who is 21 years old may be pregnant and has said she is in no state of mind to raise a baby if she is pregnant since she still lives at home and is still in school. She's known that my fiancé and I have been TTC for 14 months and get more and more devastated each month it's a bfn. So, she has said that if she's pregnant she wants me to adopt her child. The father will not have anything to do with it as it will be his second unwanted child, and he doesn't see his first. In all reality he has said he wants her to have an abortion or he'll leave if she doesn't. We have agreed to adopting the child since there may be a chance we aren't able to conceive. What do you ladies think? We are financially stable, own house, bills are paid, no worries at all. Please no rude comments.
