No labor signs?

Anyone else have no labor signs before actual labor? I'm getting quite discouraged! Last appointment my doctor said I was "very soft & 1cm" but nothing else. I'm 39 weeks & 1 day & I cannot stand being pregnant anymore! I have not enjoyed one second of it. I've been having a severe headache the past 2 days & can't figure out why & I haven't had any Braxton hicks that I can feel or notice. Anyone else feel like labor will never come :( I just want to see my sons face!
