Registering for baby clothes???

Question

So this is my 3rd baby, finally our little girl. My mom and sister are throwing another shower/sprinkle and want me to register for clothes, since that is the only thing I would need. I think it's kinda silly, but they said since I'm picky I should let people know what style I like.

Ps if I don't like it I just exchange it after shower, really no big deal.

If you want. When I registered I did all kinds of stuff and people actually did buy clothes from my registry that I really wanted. My mom thought it was a good idea to scan some onsies and stuff so people who didn't have a lot of money to spend but wanted to get something would see some cheap items on there and not feel bad.

I don't think I would register for individual outfits/sleepers/onesies. I would just let people buy what they like.

But, maybe I'm off base because I also wouldn't return anything just because I didn't like the design or because I like another pattern better.

Most people like to buy clothes anyways. You might as well let them know what you want! When my mom and sister go out shopping they send me pictures of everything ( 1. Bc I live 14 hours away and they don't know what I have bought or been given 2. Bc I don't like certain colors 3. Bc my husband should have a say in what he wants our daughter to wear too). I see nothing wrong with asking for certain clothes.

It can't hurt. People are going to bring you clothes regardless at least if you register for certain outfits they can get that or something along those lines. But as you said if they get you something else then just return it and get something you like.  Though I do have the problem of my mother buying my daughter some fugly clothes and I have to put her in it cause my mother wants to see her wear it/ pics of her in it and such. I usually just keep those for just incase blow outs while out ;)
