Breastfeeding struggles

Amber
My daughter is one month and one day old.
I exclusively breastfed her for the first 2.5 weeks, but she wasn't gaining weight even though she ate all the time and has the number of wet and soiled diapers that they say babies should have.
My LC recommended pumping and supplementing with the pumped milk, which I have been doing.
Unfortunately, I am struggling with the feed and pump cycle. The flanges that came with the pump are slightly too large for me causing nipple pain (pulling my areola into the pump). Then when my daughter latches the initial latch is very painful because my nipples are so tender from pumping. I ordered new flanges but they are yet to get here, so I don't even know if that's the issue.
My husband will feed her whatever I pumped throughout the day at night when he is home so I can have a little break.
Whatever I pump isn't consistent from day to day even though I am hydrated (still using the big 30 oz water bottle the hospital gave me and filling it up 3-4 times a day)
I have been trying mothers milk tea as well but nothing seems to be increasing my supply between nursing and pumping. I am sore, and my daughter seems to be hungry all the time.
Has anyone else had this issue? How did you get through it?
