I need mother in law advice

We have been ttc for 6 years. I recently had a miscarriage. When we told my mother in law she responded with, "I figured it would jappen, you're not that healthy" ( I have severe anemia). I was upset my her response and dwelled on it. I finally told her it upset me and she replied with, okay I'll just stay out of your life. Now we are waiting to test, may be pregnant again and I don't even want to tell her. Am I being mean?
