Don't want a child ________ month?

Question

Why do some ladies stop during a certain month so if they do conceive the child isn't born during a specific month?
 I mean isn't the goal to just have a child,  no matter the month? Why does a birthday that swings around once a year make such a huge difference?  
I feel like you make the birthday. There could be worse things than being born on Halloween or Christmas or thanksgiving?

I just know I'm past ready for a child. I don't care about gender ,birthday ,eye color, skin tone anything. I just want a family.

I just don't understand why women get so specific about every little detail like that?

I want a baby whenever, but if I did get pregnant this month, then the baby's due date would be the day after my douche bag exes birthday. However, the chances of going on your due date are slim, and my baby will have no correlation to my ex, so it really doesn't matter.  My SO and I will be happy regardless.

I always said I didn't want a child born in December bc I feel that their birthday celebration gets lost in the excitement of Christmas but we sure tried like heck this month so I'm not too worried about it anymore. If we were to get pregnant than I would be due the middle of December. But fingers crossed.

Well my son birthday is November 1 and my SO son birthday is November 27 and my daughter is December 11 and his daughter is January 30 my due date would be November 28 if I conceived so these months will be HECTIC IF SO

My entire family has birthdays in December as does my SO. At first I didn't want my child to have to be in the middle of that chaos but now I'm all for it. We've BD every day this week to hopefully cover ovulation. If we conceived this cycle the due date will be December 11 and the more I think about it the more I hope we suceeded this month.

Well, I want a baby whenever I can get one, but if we got pregnant this month it would put my due date one week before my daughters birthday, which is just two and a half weeks shy of Christmas. So unfortunately that month could really be tough if it happens but we still tried this month.

You are right about that I use to be one of those types but now I'm getting so fustrated that idc when or what I get as long as it's healthy and I have my family now because the way I feel today like I'm going to track and do ovulation kits this month but if nothing happens after this I'm giving up and letting go and let God lead his way

Well, for me, my husband and I live over six hours away from the hospital where I would be giving birth. The thought of going into labor in the middle of winter with the hospital that far away and roads possibly closed is utterly terrifying! However, after eight months of trying, I'll happily take a winter baby!!!

My reasons are simply because I have 2 other children and birthdays are a big deal in our house. As bad as I want another baby I don't want my first two children to have to share their special day. It may not make sense to some but its a big deal in our home. 😀

I don't want a child born in August. I'm an Aigust baby and I hate it! You're either older than everyone and none of your friends can do what you can or you're younger and you can't do what your friends are doing. I graduated with some people who were almost a year older than me and it sucks! No conception November or December for this lady!
