D&C March 19th

After losing our first baby in 2014 at 28 weeks due to incompatibility with life, I have just lost our rainbow baby. I had light spotting around 8 weeks that stopped after a few days. Just last week it started up again, but I started passing clots and I had large gushes of blood on 3 different days. I called my doctor and they scheduled me for an earlier appointment this Friday. The US screen was empty all except for a tiny deflated sac. Turns out I had a missed miscarriage. The sac was dated 6 1/2 weeks but I was 12 weeks 5 days and still hadn't gotten everything out so I was scheduled for a D&C today. I was so scared and my fear only made the experience worse than it really needed to be. My doctors and nurses were very compassionate and kind. I had very mild cramping when I woke up. Had heavier bleeding when I first left the hospital, but it has slowed down drastically 8 hours later. Has anyone else experienced stomach pain? Little sharp pains in the bottom of my stomach that actually hurt worse than my cramps which are almost non-existent. Just wondering what the experience was like for everyone else
