Does the empty feeling ever go away?

I lost a baby girl 1-2-07 and ive been different every since. Here it is all these years later and i still cry at times as if it just happened yesterday. Myself and a few friends were all pregnant at the same time its bitter sweet to see how big and beautiful their kids are and im still childless. I guess my question is will my heart ever mend? Will i ever go back to the old me i know ill never "get over it" but how can i let it go. Ive never been pregnant again so i can't help but think something is wrong with me and i blew my only chance at becoming a mother.

I don't think you go back to your old self.. But maybe you can find a "new self"

I am sorry for your loss. You are right, it is not something you will ever get over. It is something you get through. I lost my first in '05 and I still think of her too even after having another child. There is no replacement for the baby you lost. But it is okay to miss her and think of her and know that she exists, that she was really real. I don't know your story of what happened, for me it was my blood type. I have to have a shot or my own body kills the baby's cells. I would get checked out, it could be something as simple as that. I hope you find rest for you aching arms and that they will be filled with your hearts desire. Know that you are not alone and that there was nothing you did to cause it and nothing you could have done to prevent it. And no God did not need your baby but He is taking care of her until you can be with her. She is in good hands.

My Opa was a mortician his wife my Oma was a nurse. If this situation arose they'd offer to hold a funeral for the lost child. It helps so very much to hold a proper ceremony for one you loved so much and never met.

Afterwards there would usually be a party celebrating the short life and how the person who lost their child is a new person with a new perspective.

If you can, definitely see a counselor. Sometimes that's the best tonic, talking about it and having an unbiased ear listen.

It's always going to be hard, and I'm very much aware that not very many people are like me.

I've been pregnant 3 times and never made it past 9 weeks. Which for me and my PCOS is a massive victory, each time myself, my husband and the godparents get together and toast to the child and say "Make up your mind Wolfgar, we are very impatient to meet you!"

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I don't have any kids and I haven't gone through what you're going through. I have heard people say that losing a son/daughter is the worst. I have a cousin who lost her first baby when he was a few months  old. She went through a second pregnancy and her son is wonderful and healthy, and looking at pictures and stuff she looks happy with her life, but only she knows what's going on within herself. I think maybe she shows strength for her family and I hope you can find that little strength to continue. Maybe the pain and the empty feeling will never go away.

When I was a teenager my fiancé and I were expecting, I had a miscarriage just before 4 months. It was a very difficult thing to overcome in our lives,  but now we have two beautiful children right here with us :) When I was grieving from my loss I just told myself that it must've happened for a reason, you'll get through it love ❤️

Love nothing is wrong sometimes things just happen we can't control your a beautiful person and God just needed your baby . I can't say I'll understand your pain but it will mend it takes time and take all the time u need you had a beautiful baby and wanted and still want to be a mommy. Your very strong and God bless your soul and spirit.
