New on the pill.

Okay I've been on the pill since tuesday. I'm 16 and I'm taking it for possible fobriod cyst in my uterus. I started my period Tuesday (same day as pill) well yesterday I was suppose to be off and it did kinda stop. Today has been spotting but when I went to wipe there was lots of blood and like a huge slim of thick red/blood stuff came out.. Is that normal? I didn't have my phone so I have no picture😕
