Loss of fluid???

I'm 37 weeks 5days pregnant and last night I got a loss of watery fluid during sexual intercourse. I phoned midwife and she said its either waters or possible urine. I've had no pain or anything since and no more loss of fluid, and I really don't think it was urine as it was my partner that told me there was fluid. Has this happened to anyone else ? I'm confused
