HPV question please no judgement

I had my baby two months ago and I recieved a Pap smear at my 6 week pp visit. Apparently I have HPV. The only thing is that I've been with my husband for 3 1/2 years, married for 1 1/2. I do not believe that he's cheated on me. I have not cheated on him. The only other person I've ever had sexual contact with is the guy that raped me out of my virginity 5 years ago when I was 16. Is it possible to have had this virus for that long?
