I tested on the day of my missed period. (The day I expected to get it but didn't.) It was so faint but it looked positive so I sported for a clear blue and got a 2-3 weeks positive. When ttc I only bought the $0.88 ones from walmart. I wasn't about to spend $15 on a test every month for a negative.  Haha. I only sported for the expensive one when I wanted to 100% thought I had gotten a positive.
