Do people in life support go to heaven?

Question

For those who don't believe in heaven think of it in a hypothetical sense. If someone completely dies and is kept "alive" on life support do you think they would go to heaven? Or because  they're body is being kept "alive" they're soul gets stuck unable to leave and enter the afterlife? (And yes the Jahi McMath case is what got me thinking about this)

I believe they are gone. I'm a nurse and I have seen several patients on life support and I truly believe they are no longer there. The body is being kept alive because a machine is providing oxygen and pumping the blood but the soul is gone. However, this is only if there is zero brain activity. If there is brain activity then I would argue they are still there.

I don't believe people who are being kept alive by life support are actually alive, I personally believe the soul is already gone.  I assume you're referring to Jahi Mcmath issue.... That child is dead. Long since dead. Her parents can hang on to her decomposing corpse till the cows come home and pray for God to save her till they're blue in the face. God already made the decision and the answer is, she's dead and that body is nothing more then dead flesh now. You can keep pretty much any internal organ in a box, functioning with oxygenated blood flowing through it, but that organ isn't going to work on its own without a brain to direct it to do so.

As a religious RT, my opinion on it is that the soul is stuck in the body. Assuming the patient isn't brain dead anyway. So they go no where until the body dies, heaven or otherwise.

Good question tho.  I always wondered where their spirit was till then.  Maybe they are floating around in the room , looking at what's going on till then.   I mean, their heart is still beating .  They are not "dead"yet despite no brain (or minimal) function

Honestly my Grandma was in a coma at the end and she was def gone the last day.  Thankfully she only went through 3 days of it.  But you can tell.  Some people I believe are still there but I think most times they are gone.  You also hear stories about coma patients saying they saw God

This is definitely a hypothetical situation for me, because I'm Agnostic. 
I believe once someone is brain dead, they're dead. The people keeping them on life support, are doing it cause they're not ready to let go. Once someone is brain dead, the soul leaves the body, and goes where it's meant to go. So, in this situation, I believe hypothetically they would be in heaven.
