Christian women converted by SO?

Question

Okay so this is completly new territory for me. I'm not religious I grew up with athiest parents who did nothing but talk down on religion. My SO of two years is Christian, his religion is every important to him and his family. And for the first time the other night I finally came out and said that I don't really believe in any of that bc of my upbringing and I just don't understand any of it. He's wanting to sit down tomorrow and sort of go over the majority of it himself bc the few times we have talked about it, his religion makes much more sense coming from him than a pastor. I'm not really sure what my question is, but are there any other women who were atheist or just not relgious who converted for their SO? 
(Before I get any negative comments about this, I do have an interest in learning about and deciding for myself whether or not I believe in religion, I'm not just letting him 'force' me in to this. And for all the 'this is a conversation you should've had before you got serious' comments that I've seen to similar questions like this, we've been together 2 years and are just now seriously talking about getting engaged/married within the next few years so this IS our conversation before we get too serious)

Just be open minded...I'm spiritual rather than religious but everyone thinks differently.

Not exactly, but I can relate. He was a hardcore athiest(like, kind of a jerk about it. Made you feel dumb for believing in anything.) I was one of those "spiritual, but not religious" types. We'd argue about God sometimes. Enough that it became a problem. We basically just decided we couldn't discuss it. I think it was a bigger issue for my parents than it was for me, but I value their opinions a lot. He had a family ailment happen, and it kind of made him question everything. He slowly came around to agnosticism, and we started to go to church. We both got saved a few months ago. 
TL;DR: You can have a relationship with different beliefs. It can be trying, but as long as there is respect, you can go the distance. If you want to convert, of course, I'm going to tell you to do it. DONT JUST DO IT FOR HIM. Good luck to you, love.

I'm Christian and my partner is cultural so that comes with some clashes on issues like what happens when people are getting married and rituals to be done when babies are born such stuff. It's a challenge because I have my own belief system with different norms from his

My husband believes in God but he's very unsure of organized religion. I'm Catholic. We had the talk before marriage and kids and came to the agreement of raising our children Catholic and then letting them decide when they're older. He goes to church with us sometimes, not always. I do prefer when he goes with us but it's not something we argue about. He's considered converting only Bc my uncle is a priest and after talking to him he has a new understanding and respect for the Catholic religion.

My husband says love me and zach (our son) are going to church if you want to come then come if you dont then i dont care this is my religion its completely up to you whether you want to follow it. So sometimes i go and other times i dont. He never argues with me over it. Honestly if the religion is not for you then dont follow it for him that could lead to future resentment. You could go and check it out see what you think then make the decision for yourself? Its not to be taken lightly. I still haven't decided and we've been together for 3 years and married for 1 with an 18 month old and one on the way! Take your time!
