relationship advice!!

so me and my bf/ex-bf are not on the best terms right now. we are not "officially dating" anymore because he doesn't know what he wants but he says he still wants to be with me. we have been together for over 2 years and still talk everyday. he's coming over tonight to talk and all so we can try to figure things out. would you let things lead to sex? do you think it would help the situation at all?
