Baby name- Sound silly?

I want to name my baby girl ankhesenamun.. It's pronounced uh-nook-sew-na-moon. I'm really into egyptian names and I think it's beautiful, but I wonder if people will struggle with it all the time and embarrass her

I've heard this name on the "Mummy" movie! I think it is a pretty name, but maybe just for an Egyptian heritage. But if this is in your or your DH heritage I would go for it! But if it's not you may want to consider the  reprocussions. Good luck!!!

Take it from a Gunce - her life will be miserable in school. I love unique names - but ones that are just a little different - but not so it's virtually impossible for anyone to pronounce correctly.

​On the plus side - if you do name her that - she will becone incredibly self aware  and tough by the time she is 18...

Personally...... I would give her this as Middle name . Saves the child having a hard time all her life and it's still included in her name but she doesn't need to use it daily

Very tough & confusing,it's an Egyptian queen name but not all people know that,it looks misspelled.
​Studying Egyptian history in school was hard because of names like this that no one could pronounce.

I think it's definitely tough but is there a cute nickname you could use? Give her that name and call her something shorter and easier for a nickname so it's easier for people who struggle with the pronounciation?

It is definitely pretty, but growing up she will struggle with people not know how to pronounce or spell it. I have the alternate spelling of Ashley (with -leigh instead of -ley) and I had people mispronounce and misspell my name my entire life, especially in school. It was a pain but my name was much easier than the name you are thinking of. 
​However, if you're set on it, that is your choice to make.

It very pretty but I would probably sway away from it imagine teachers trying to call that name every year of school till she graduates.
