Graduating college!?!

I'm thinking about changing my major concentration....again. With this on top of anxiety problems I had experienced sophomore year, it looks like it's going to take me six years to graduate with my bachelors.

I feel ashamed and like a failure because I'm not going fast enough...do any of you have similar experiences?

I'll be staying a 9th semester to finish my bachelors, but I know plenty of people who have stayed 5-6 years! In the end it's more important that you actually graduate and do well, not how long it took you to do so!

Tell me about it... Try having to drop out twice because you've run out of money. It sucks but it doesn't mean you're a failure. These are things we can't control. Just enjoy your youth! These years are going to fly by anyway. Might as well make the best of it through the struggles

Don't feel ashamed. I'm at a community college right now and bc of my major (premed biology) I will have been at community college for 4 years! Then at least 2 years at a university to get my bachelors. Then 4 years for masters. Plus 4-6 years of residency.

Don't feel ashamed. It's taking me 5 years of schooling and then half a semester of student teaching. Sometimes in life we have to take a long road. Don't feel ashamed. If you're doing what you want it's worth the wait. I've know several people to take 5 or 6 years to finish college. Just think. You are here. You're finishing your degree. Then think about all of the people you met freshmen year who quit or failed out or didn't try. You are doing something amazing even if you have to take a victory lap 😉

Don't worry I haven't even gotten one foot in the door. :/ bc I don't have enough money for college. I've even tried to fill out Fafsa -.- it didn't go the way I planned. I'm supposed to be graduating in 2019 idk if that's changing 😔
