Too Early to test?

Hello Everyone, 
This is my second month TTC and I hope that I will get a BFP soon. My last AF was 12/13/13 and ended on 12/19/13. I believe I ovulated on 12/30. Me and DH tried everyday between 12/26 and 1/1. My next AF is due on 1/13. Is it too early to test?

No I haven't read it but thank you for the recommendation! I have been looking for a good book for this. It's my second cycle ttc after having an iud for three years. my cycles have always been pretty normal. We are taking it slow and having fun tracking and learning. Thanks!

Kelsey it is a shorter luteal phase even at 6 days but it is totally normal. Mine is 10. Have you read the impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant? It's awesome and she discusses this topic in detail. I paid $10 on my tablet for the book!

25-19 is six days. And I have done a lot of my own research that says my shorter cycle is not cause for alarm. We all have different bodies, we all have our own averages. I did my own research I am right inside my fertile window and can expect AF or BFP around the 15th. Thanks for the help.

Kelsey the "average" luteal phase is around 14 days. The luteal phase is the time between ovulation and AF. If you ovulated on cd19 and got AF on cd25, it means you have a 4 day luteal phase, which is very very short. You may just want to mention this to your doctor next time you talk to him/her.

Americanpregnancy.org says that ovulation can happen over the time span of two weeks. I think it is normal. My bbt seems to be constant as well. Is it not normal?

Last cycle I ovulated around cd 19 and AF came at cd 25. Today I got my +ve opk. My cycle is pretty regular at 25 days. How long do I wait to test?
