Can I zip my lips??

Had 2nd internal SG today. Measuring 6w 1d and right on target. Saw the heart beat and it's strong at 120.9 bpm! Clearly I'm starting to get more excited and I can understand why people want to share so early. DH and I agreed that we would wait until after the first trimester but I don't know if I can do it. We haven't said a word - except for me talking on here (which is helping!!)  I'm sure there has been a post about this but I can't help but share since I have no one else to share with!!

We don't have our first ultrasound for a couple of weeks (currently 4 weeks, 4 days).

My husband and I agreed not to tell anyone until the first trimester has passed, but this is my first child, and his second, so he's just not as excited as I am. XD

We know that if we tell anyone on his side, it'll be a matter of hours before everyone knows, so we agreed to wait until the first trimester passes, but I did wrangle a compromise. I can tell my Mum and Dad once we have the first ultrasound, but everyone else has to wait, which means it's only two weeks until I can speak with someone about our little bear!

I am about ready to ask if I can tell my parents on Mother's Day weekend since I'll be home at that time ("home" is 2.5 hours away). But I want to find a cute way to tell them. I'd be about 8 weeks at that time. 
We don't have a great relationship with my inlaws so that's something we are trying to figure out and that's the same boat too - the minute they know, everyone will know. That's what happened when we got engaged - no sooner did we hang up the phone but they were calling all his aunts and uncles and then we were getting calls from them vs us being able to share the news.
