Husband

In have no idea what to do. My husband has changed into the biggest jerk. I have accepted that my husband really does not want anything to do with our family anymore. In the last week he has only slept at our house once. He gets drunk all the time and doesn't come home. He has a girlfriend on the side I am for sure.  I ask for help but he makes promises and won't keep them. I called him the other day I burned my leg on hot boiling water and I called him for help and he asked what do u want me to do about it. We have 3 children together and I couldn't even get up to feed them. When he finally does come home he acts like I'm super bitch for not acting all happy and such. I don't need advice really on how to get him to change I just need to now how to make him leave? I have asked him several times to leave and he says he can't cause he doesn't have any money , which is true he can't hold a job anymore because of drinking. I tell him that's not my problem so he keeps saying I will leave just give me a couple days. This has been going on for months. Can I call the police if our apartment is under both our names?
