Vomiting One Year Old??

A couple of hours ago I woke up to my son sort of gagging and acting like he was trying to throw up. Nothing happened and he went back to sleep, I watched him for a minute then went back to sleep.
About 30-45 minutes ago, I woke up and he had puked. It wasn't a lot but it was thick and white.
I gave him a bath and tried to wake up my brother and his girlfriend (I'm at their house) to ask if one of them would sit with him so I could go get some pedialyte. My brother got up and told me that my son would just cry if I left and wake up his girlfriends baby, so I said I'd bring him with me and asked for her car key (his car seat is locked in her car) and he said he didn't know where it was and went back to bed.
My son is still puking (sort of? it's just a little at a time and it's a mix between a clear and yellow liquid-similar to when a dog pukes-I can only conclude that it's just stomach acid because he's having trouble getting it out. He chokes and gags) but he doesn't have a fever or any other symptoms really.
So, what can I do to help soothe him and what can I give him in place of pedialyte for the next few hours? (It's 3:30am currently, I'm going to leave and take him home first thing in the morning, so I'll be able to get some)
