Do you think he'll come around?

I'm 20, my ex is 23. We've were together since high school, but our relationship wasn't great. We broke up after 3 years and it was hard but we dated other people and both realized we still wanted each other. So for the past year we've been on and off and seeing each other often. We weren't ready to get back together because we still fought all the time, but he took me out on Valentine's Day, and a few weeks later.. I'm pregnant. I called him and told him, and he said okay I need time to think. That was 2 months ago and he hasn't spoken to me since. I tried to call him and text him a few times but he ignores me which he's never done before. I sent him a picture of the ultrasound and he said "I'm gonna be in the baby's life no matter what." And then wouldn't respond to anything else. He's partying more than usual now and just basically act like this isn't happening. It's just crazy, he's never ignored me and we've never even gone this long without talking. I get it he's scared and maybe me being pregnant made him realize he doesn't want me anymore? Idk, either way I wish he would have a conversation with me and just let me know what's going on. Its so sad to me that he just dropped me and all the sudden I don't matter, because I'm pregnant? He was such a good guy, this is so strange for him. It's been 2 months.. anyone go through something like this? How did it end up?

I wouldn't count on getting any type of support from him . He's showing you with his actions that he isn't going to be involved with you . I'm really sorry you have to go through this but you need to start planning for your future without him in it .

It does not sound like a healthy relationship. And a honestly it would be bad for the child to see that. It will be ok to co parent and both be in the childs life, but staying together isnt always the answer. Ive been in a bad relationship like that and we kept trying to make it work for 4 years. Needless to say I finally ened it for good and I am so happy I did. The relationship I have with my now husband iz so amazing, and I now now what real love is.

Actions speak louder than words, talk is cheap and I wouldn't put any value into what comes out of his mouth until his actions validate his silver tongue. 
You say he was a good guy, but a good guy doesn't ignore the women carrying his child regaurdless of his feelings. And seeing as how much you guys fought im sorry but I can't help but to think you've had rose colored glasses on. 
I'm not saying ditch him, but I am saying that at this moment in time you deserve better.  So if I were you I would keep a door open for him to support your child if he decides to sack up and start acting appropriately. But in the mean time close the door to your heart and keep your eyes wide open. Good luck. ❤️

I'm kind of in the same situation but I've decided I'm not going to let him get to me. He only calls or texts when it's convenient to him. When it came time for me to get my 3D sonogram he said he would pay for it then decided he didn't have the money for it. Then he found out I had a boyfriend and he said my son isn't going to call anyone else dad and that he was going to try to be in his life as much as possible. He isn't allowed at the hospital when I have my son because he hasn't tried to help with anything and he doesn't deserve to be his dad.

im going thro the same thing basicly was with my ex since i was 14 im 20 now we were on and off then we stopped talking in jan n have not spoken since i find hes likely scared to be a dad but if he dont wanna put effort then you dont need to take time out of your day when hes not trying to be there its one thing to say your gonna be there and a competely diffrent thing to actually be there

Well honestly the relationship never seemed stable to begin with so to expect him to all of a sudden change would be a long shot. My boyfriend & i did fight over the baby once I found out but we were stable and had an established love for each other. He was shocked so much we didn't talk for about 2-3 weeks but he knew he loved me and I waited because I knew he would come around &I he eventually did. But even during that time I planned for myself and my so. Without him. Now he is completely obsessed with his son & doing all he can for me. But the difference is, again, we have been stable. He also did not go out more he actually used his time to think everything through which is what your man should've been doing instead of acting like it isn't happening. Seems like you will be better off planning as if he isn't coming back so YOU can be ready for YOUR baby. He's proven unreliable & you shouldn't have to wait around for him. The clock started ticking before you even knew & it's still going girl you must do what you have to to make this process easier for yourself.
