2 month old constipated? Help please!

My baby is almost 8 weeks. She has only breast milk through bf and pumping. She always poops multiple times a day...3-5 times usually. She hasn't popped in almost 24 hours. Any thoughts? What can I do?

Breastfed babies can go 10 days without pooping so don't worry :-)

Breastfed babies can go a week without pooping and it's totally normal. Unless she straining/in discomfort, don't worry! When they are little, there's a pooping reflex, so they poop when they eat. As they grow they have to poop themselves so it slows a bit. Plus breast milk is digested VERY efficiently.

She isn't necessarily constipated. Breastfed babies almost never get constipated. I think it was around that age that mine started pooping less often. He went as long as a week between poops. If she doesn't go in a few more days, you could contact your doctor.

Maybe something you ate but it is normal even for breastfed babies to go a day or two without a bm

It's very normal for a breastfed baby to go 7-10 days without only one poop! My son only poops every 3ish days but when he does, holy moley! Breast milk has very little waste in it so they don't need to go as often.
