How common is Noah?

Question

I've ALWAYS loved the name Noah for a boy ever since I was a teenager. It wasn't common then but now, as luck would have it, I see its #2 on the popular names of 2015 list 😕 and I'm sad because I don't want my kid to have the same name as 20 other kids in his class. We don't know the sex yet, but I'm wondering if it's REALLY that common? Anyone have any thoughts?

I've known three people in my small town that have named their baby Noah within the last year. It's jumped to the #1 name in my country, but really, if you like it, use it! There's always a possibility of having others in his class with the same name regardless of what you choose.

Omg my bf is set on that name if we have a boy and it's super common lol but I'm just like whatever, it's like naming a kid Michael or Christopher be prepared

My daughter has 4 Noah's in her class, so I would say very common. If you like it, use it!

I am a teacher and I have had 2 Noah's ( 4 years teaching). There have been a handful of others who I haven't had. If you like the name, I would go with it!
