Piercing closed over?!

I just need to rant. I took my cartilage piercing out (not sure what it's called, helix maybe) last night because it was seriously inflamed and sore. I got it pierced a year and a half ago and it COMPLETLEY closed over over night!!! There goes my favourite piercing and a waste of $50🙁

Typically it's just a film that covers the hole so you can just push the warring back through

When it happened to me, I just shoved the earring back through and redid the whole healing process and just don't take it out anymore. That's what I do with my normal cartilage anyways. But where I'm from it only cost me $13 for it so I could just get it repierced professionals.

You can try and go to a piercer they may be able to get it througheven if it doesnt look like theres anyway for jewelry to go through sometimes they can make it happen if you get it soon enough

taking out a piercing is almost never the answer. if it's infected, you can trap the infection and make it worse. it's always a better idea to just clean it.
