I need some advice.

Okay on February 6th, 2016 me & my husband got married. On our wedding day it wasn't exactly what I dreamed of as a little girl. Things didn't go as planned. His mom was in a bad mood & everyone didn't get along. But last night we were talking & my husband told me the reason why our wedding didn't go good was cuz of my side of the family. He said they ruined everything. He said my aunt came in & took charge of everything & she had no right to. But no one else was taking charge. I guess the advice I'm needing is, was it really my family's fault? Was it so bad for my aunt to take charge? Him & his mom really don't like my family. He gets mad when I even go to my grandmas. I need some of yall advice.
