Not sure if any of you moms have seen this but what do you think about it? I personally find their laws to be so stupid. They aren't charging the baby sitter because "the baby can't legally speak and say it caused him any pain." How stupider can our government laws be?! I'm glad that the parents are stopping there though; they made a petition to have that law revoked I believe. I'd be so livid if I were the parents. What do you ladies think?

So let's say it was a step further and a baby was sexually molested.. No charges because baby can't say for sure exactly where it crossed into that and what all happened?

I haven't heard anything about this specific case. But I think that's pretty messed up. So does that mean any POS can torture, beat, rape, molest etc, a child until they are able to talk because they can't say what happened? I think that's just making it easier for people like that to abuse small children if they know they can get away with it because the child can't talk. That's absolute BS to me.

When I hear things like this, it pisses me off because as a mother myself, I know it would be me in front of the judge explaining why I damaged the babysitter who hurt my child instead of letting the authorities handle it.

Is there a story to this? All I have seen so far is the exact same screenshot posted by the op and something about posting the baby's bruises on Facebook, but no actual info

Charge that babysitter! Oh my gosh. What kind of law says otherwise?!

If someone did that to my kid and they courts didnt do anything, id handle him myself 👊

I also don't understand how the babysitter can get away with it when the parents wouldn't be able to get away with it. If either parent had hurt the child they would have been charged.
